A Nanocom would sort that if five minutes IF it is otherwise serviceable. Please note though that unless it was in crawl mode on some of the photos it is on coils.

There was a p38 with perfect interior and very good paint near me, petrol and non starter due to being locked out, i offered £400 for it but guy wanted £450 so never got it. I thought it would make a good shed to keep my strimmer, lawn mower and garden tools in. I got a bigger shed for the £400 so pretty happy.

That's no way to talk about your motor you should be proud of it. :D

:p
You cannot use a classic as a shed, 6 months left outside in the winter and there would be nothing but plastic left. That is where the p38 has the edge over the classic, the perfect shed.

If the engine's not completely knackered it'll go for more....but still a liability at 122K miles.

Hmmm. Seller called Dogsbody. Used to be a Dogsbody on here. Coincidence?

Whatever happened to Dogsbody?

Head gasket due. Airbags unknown. Compressor unknown. RF receiver unknown. Call it £500 for parts and then some work to get it straight. If you can get it for 450 you might just cover your costs.
