got to be cheaper - skips arn't free

at least you are doing your bit

Has a mate who was in Royal ordnance Corp. Reckoned the wastage was criminal (literally in a lot of cases) & also chatted to a chap who was in Bosnia. Who reckoned that at the end they dumped containers of kit and even whole vehicles into the sea rather than bring them back to UK.

The Design & Technology National Curriculum has the 6R's which suit Land Rover owners to a tee!

BBC - GCSE Bitesize: The 6 Rs

Reduce -is it possible to reduce the amount of materials used? This will help to protect valuable resources.
Rethink - is there a better way to solve this problem that is less damaging to the environment?
Refuse - this means not accepting things that are not the best option for the environment. For example, is the packaging really needed?
Recycle - could recycled materials be used, or is the product made from materials that are easy to recycle?
Reuse - could the product have another use? Could its parts be used in other products? Is this information clearly communicated on the product? This will extend its life.
Repair - is the product easy to repair? This will extend its life.

you might be worth putting a for sale thread up of some of the stuff that comes by you and then doing a donation sale for someone like help for heros. obviously reclaim your postage costs for anything that sells then that way we are getting some useful cheap stuff, you are still disposing of the stuff, and the charity is getting some help aswell
