Just wondering where you guys find your cheap defenders I've been looking at ones to rebuild but they are too costly to use as a starting base, any info to where there is cheap landys it would be appreciated, looking at 2k mark or lower don't mind if chassis need changing

You've more chance of striking oil in your back garden than getting a decent 300tdi 90 for less than 2k

Gumtree is your best bet. There's a 2.5N/A 110 on for £900 at the mo - but that's in Norn Iron. Anything with a decent 300 or 200tdi will be worth more.

i dont mind going slighty higher if the landy needs work, just not massive amounts of work.

put out a load of wanted ads like these maybe?

Or check the unsold fenders on ebay and do some legwork.

just found a clinker on preloved for 3.5k with a galvanised chassis already fitted and plenty of extras!!! GOD DAMN why does this happen when the money aint in my account!!!

Try www.lro.com and keep looking as I bought my 90 with discovery 200tdi engine fitted for £1500.00 a couple of months ago with long MOT and TAX.

You need to look at all sites daily as bargains do sometimes come up but you need to get in first...

Be prepared to travel and view before buying....
