An old fitter I worked with many years ago used this method on transits. Except he used the old engine oil. Very messy !Spray every hole in the chassis with mix of fresh engine oil and diesel 50/50. And do not park on anyone's posh driveway for a day or two.
Waxoyl is now rather old tech. Bilt Hamber Dynax is better. A few of the car mags have done trials. All about creep. Dinitrol does also get good reviews, as does the stuff from Rust.co.uk. I like Bilt Hamber because you can speak to the boffin there, Pete Hamber.
The aerosols with the extension tubes from Bilt Hamber are so easy to use. But be sure to blow unused wax through the tube as soon as you are finished.
