Hi Guys
I'm new to this forum but have found it helpful so far.
Have just acquired my first Td5 Discovery and absolutely love it! The Td5 came with a 12 month MOT which had a few minor points on, one reads chassis showing signs of rust but no holes. After reading some posts on here, I am debating whether to get the under side of the Disco waxoyled or sealed. Is this a job that could be undertaken by a novice or should I leave it and pay the garage to do it? After purchase and taxing, funds are limited so every penny saved is a bonus. Have access to my uncle's pit and could convince dad and said uncle to help out but have no lifting equipment (unless my uncle has got something lurking in his garage that my aunty is unaware of him spending money on !!)
What's the best stuff to use and is it worth waiting until worst of winter is over?
Help much appreciated.
Regards
