so you feel it would be VERY hard work to get an 88 body onto a 90 chssis, or would the body just not fit, i have searched the web but cant find the dimentions of a 90 chassis any where so i can compare it to the 88 dimentions i have from my manual.plenty of big differences too ......

ok cheers for you help, i will have to have a good think about what i want to do.haynes manual and the workshop manual both have chassis dims in
i'll leave to decide if it's going to be VERY hard work to do
Right,an 88" has a wheelbase of 88"hence the name, wheelbase= centre of front wheel to centre of back wheel. A 90 has a wheelbase of 90" or I think it's about 92" to be precise.so some bits will fit, front wings, bulkhead doors etc but the rear tub won't even if you cut the bit of chassis of that's sticking out at the back because the rear wheels will be too far back to line up with the arches. If you want a 90 chassis under a series your gonna have to cut the chassis in the middle, cut the extra 3 or 4 inches out and then weld it back together,it will then be registered on a Q plate and not be tax exempt.
How bads the series chassis cos you can buy just about every section from an outrigger to half a chassis, have a look on this site
