Hi, I have a 2002 (52) TD5 and was fitting side steps today. The instructions (what a joke) say to unbolt the nut underneath that holds the body (via a bush) to the chassis. There are 4 in total 2 on either side 1 front and one rear, situated in front of the rear wheels and behind the front wheels. The extension studs then screw on to the existing bolts, once the nuts have been removed.

I managed to do the left hand side, however the right hand side bolt snapped. I can't get it out as the car body prevents it from coming out all of the way.

Any thoughts.......pleeaaassee!!!

Im assuming they are the same as a disco 1, the bushe that the bolt goes through is in 2 parts i pulled the top half of the bush off (moved it up with the bolt) there is a spacer inside the bushes if it stays with the lower bush you need to pull that out aswell that should then give you enough of an angle on the bolt to get past the floor, is still a bit tight though.
