DEFENDER 300TDI , Im swapping my rock sliders for rock/tree sliders . If i can get the old ones off .
The front chassis to body bolt , i need to pull it right out to get the slider off . Do i need to support the body when i knock the bolt out .

No... not if it is a Disco 2 - can't speak for any other models

Do you mean the main bulkhead to outrigger bolt? If so, yes I would support the bulkhead as it will move, and the holes won’t line up when you try to put the bolt in!
