will be if its outta balence
seen the end result of one ona transit ,not pretty
ripped thru the floor then jammed in the road and flipped it over
we had to recover it
 
I dunno if this would help or not but i saw somebody do this once where the bolts were round and no spanner or socket would fit he welded another bolt to it and got it off that way. But that was a tractor not a landy
 
Cheers guys, thanks for the advice, did the job properly, after making the tool to hold the flange in place.

Vrey easy to do and I did not lose any oil out of the gear box, I assumer this is because I did not pull it out to far rather than there being no oil in the box!
 
might be an idea to put the bolts in from the prop side this time;)
Had a look at mine and think some one had the wisdom to do that at some point before:D
 
Way too lait for that now. It is only realy an isue if you have worn the bolts out like this one had.
