Hi all apologies if this has been covered a million times but just after a litte help before I botch things!
Both front sensors are open circuit and seized in place. Tried the free them but to no avail.so been told best route is to split the hub and knock it out from the inside. Also going to change the reluctor rings are they are damaged.
So what's the best way to do this? Got new hub nuts coming new sensors and new rings.
Is it better to remove the two very rusty bolts holding the strut to the hub and pull the hub down enough to free driveshaft or do I have to split the lower ball joint and take the whole hub off?
Fitting new rings do they need to be heated and shrunk on or can I just clean up the corrosion and hammer the new ring on?
The 2 bolts holding the strut to the hub the thread looks very fine and corroded should I replace these and if so is this a dealer part?
Any tips for doing this or is there a sticky or how to I have missed?
All help much appreciatedated
