wanting to remove a salisbury axle out of a 110 wanting to swap it with a disc brake one found a td5 rear axle out of a defender 90 question is will it fit my defender 110 will it be right ratio and everything
ps its a 300tdi 110

many thanks

I thought the 90 axle was not rated to the same load as the 110. But ,then not sure if that concerns you.

Cheers

this is what im trying to find out trying to find one is becoming a nightmare

So if I understand, what you really want is to see if you can upgrade a drum 110 salisbury axle to have discs? Have you asked that question?

Cheers

want to remove the salisbury fitted because its making a horrible noise being run with very little oil in it found a td5 90 axle would prefer it to be replaced with disc brakes

there is a v good reason that 110s have Salisbury axles - they are considerably stronger and capable of higher load carrying capabilities.
