no no no my friend had one and was driving down the motorway and for no reason at all it set on fire by time the fire crew arrived it was finished
 
I think you might be right. A colleague of mine has had expereince of the Merc as well. It started to fall to bits not long from new!
 
At least we can blame the parts...

I was tempted by a Shogun Sport 2.5TD. I took it for a drive and it looked good but inside, my God, very cheap plastic interor, the doors sounded very tinny when you shut them and the ride felt light and insecure.

I got back into my Range Rover and it felt solid, classy and smooth.

What was I think ing off? Sorry everyone, lesson learnt :D
