Ok guys here we go with the argument over Air and coils again. My 1999 se is on coils at present and has been since i bought it last year. Over the last few months i have worked on all the faults even down to the cubby box gas strut but the one thing that still kills me is the fact its on Coils. As i mentioned in an earlier post it came like this and after a look around it seems that apart from the air bags and a couple of ride height sensors its all there. Iv now got to the point where iv decided im keeping the car as it has a fairly low milage and in excellant condition and so it now must go back on air. I can wield the odd spanner here and there and im no novice but hate electrics, so first question is there anyone out there in Kent on the site that has the software to reset everything and can offer moral support and a hand. Obviuosly im more than happy to throw in the odd beer barbeque and if need be her in doors into the deal, just dont let her know the last bit. Secondly im thinking of getting a breaker off the bay of the e that has air working just for the bits i need and can swap over and have a referance of what should be were. Any bits left can be sold on or scrapped and i can hopefully break sort of even. Is this a good idea or not and should i just bite the bullet and buy new???
Any help appreciated.
