Map pipe cleaned and ok, inlet gaskets replaced. As I've said in previous post power back and now a lot quieter after running cleaner through turboI think I would be looking at map pipe or inlet gaskets next. Possibly the intercooler itself as RRDT suggested.
Spray it in with the engine running?Well bought a can of Wynnes EGR and turbo cleaner and sprayed it in inlet pipe to the turbo. Took my time nice and steady. Wow took it for a spin and the difference is very noticeable. Quieter, more powerful overall a lot lot better. I am pleasantly surprised but very happy with the outcome.
Thats correct and don't squirt for more than 1 second at a timeSpray it in with the engine running?
A squirt every , say, 30secs or so?
I'll have to try some of that.Been for a good run round and the difference is very very good
Just take your time and short bursts and its amazingI'll have to try some of that.

May be a sticking wastegate and the cleaner cleared the gunge outNever thought of that. Bit surprised it did anything as it has enough oil going through it.
I have got a turbo in bits on the bench, it's surprising how much gunge there is on the intake side.May be a sticking wastegate and the cleaner cleared the gunge out
