Hi guy new on here and not sure how this all works. So here goes.. I have an landrover discovery 3 and I have to change the handbrake module but I'm told it needs to be reprogrammed so does any one know how this is done many thanks in advance Wayne

It needs to have the longitudinal accelerometer calibrated with SDD or Autologic etc. Why do you need to change it ?

Thanks for the reply. Will snap on solis diagnostic machine do the same job ?

No idea, Snap On have really upped their game with LR stuff, I have an old Modis with 2012 software,which is good.But I also have SDD so I tend to use that for more in depth jobs such as coding and calibration. You would need to hook it up and see if the Solis shows it under "Special Functions" in the park brake module section.

Yeah it's in the special function but do I need a code or is it just a case of re setting the new hand brake module ?? Thanks Wayne

No code, its just a calibration job,needs the car on a solid, level floor when you do it.
