Has anybody used a TD5 centrifuge oli filter on another engine
It doesnt have to be connected directly to the engine, remotly with pipes is ok

I don`t want your opinions on what I want, mate, I know what I want
What I want to know is--- has anybody used a centrifuge from a TD5 on anything else?? thats all

Yes I have once or twice... and it was pretty successful. Took a bit of doing though

Well I suppose one could be used as a suppository with that attitude

in what way was it successful ,you got it working ,or you proved engine life was longer
To be honest Mr Martin

It is difficult toprove that engine life was extended... however we certainly got it working and it was pretty efficient. Of course the modifications trhat were needed required a little juggling but I am sure that between us we could come up with some diagrams and advice for the original poster...

He mighthave struck the wrong chord with some of our more sensitive crew here on the forum... but we, at least, could share with him our experiences of such an experiment.

Have you tried anything similar? I know it took me a day or two to sort out our issues but the result was pretty good!

Or we could tell him to cock off cos he has a **** attitude??? or wait for an apology?

I cant believe you'd give him the time of day to be honest.

Just my opinion of course. :D

to be brutally frank having a **** attitude would seem to be pretty common on here.

ive got a couple of 1970;s zetor tractors that have centrifugal engine oil filters.... ive had no problems with the engines and im not aware of anyone seeing the filters as an issue. the zetor engines seem to last as well as any other similar age tractor engine.

ive not actually noticed a centrifugal filter on anything else.
