Hi

Around the handbrake there are x4 rocker switches. x3 dont do anything and the 4th controls the rear window.
When taking the centre console out i noticed that the top right (when looking at it) was plugged in but its a blank switch? What is the optional switch that goes here? Is it something thats useful and i can activate in mine?
Mine is a 05 auto SE.

Thanks

It will be for the sunroof

Used to be used for window switches but on the facelift they moved to the doors and freed up the centre console switches

Ok great thanks.

On the subject of wiring..... i have a reverse camera to be wired up. I have fed it through a rear grommet in the boot near the passenger side rear wiring for the lights. What cables should i connect to where!
Thanks

Assuming it needs a reverse feed then find the wire for the reverse light

If it needs a permanent power supply then not sure what's permanent live in that corner - you'll have to use a multimeter or test light to find the power source you want

Ok.
Also there are some spare plugs in the centre section under the storage compartment. I assume they are for a 12v socket. I will try and find a socket on ebay to fit.

if ur after switches , carling do a good range

you can buy the back piece with the power socket in and it will come in the colour of your centre console .

On my 55 plate manual those switches (by the hand brake) control the front door windows (lower two switches) and the top two are rear window and central locking.
