All my windows, sunroof and mirrors suddenly stopped working.
I checked behind panel and connector looks ok
All the fuses are ok including F1
Nanocom says "cant communicate with switch panel".
Help would be much appreciated cos I would hate to buy a new one when not needed
Does this switch panel have a favourite failure mode?
Are there any other tests I can do before I buy a new one?
Thank you

I had to replace mine earlier in the year : simple enough job.
I had a leccy friend have a look at mine as it was possible that something as simple as a resistor had gone. It looked to me as if it was delaminating and I decided that life was too short to go playing around with the switchpack. I hadn't heard of any pattern of probs.
If you're leccy knowledgeable you could carry out a full check on it but to get that done professionally would probably not make economic sense

Everything is done by the BECM the switch panel is just for signalling the BECM to perform a function. Suggest you have a look at diagrams.

If you have a nanacom you can operate the widows from it and that will let you know if its the switch pack or other problems

Thanks Tak I think I will order a pack and then have a footer with the old one and keep as a spare.
I have Nanocom and didn't know I could do that with it so I will try that tomorrow thank you.
Wammers I haven't found anything in Rave yet but will look again. This computerised stuff is a bit baffling I am afraid.

Changed switch panel and everything works again.
Thanks for your help
