Soon to be back in a hippo and one of the mods I am keen to do is fit my double din radio.

Before I get happy with the airsaw and fibreglass etc I was looking at swapping the facelift surround into the prefacelift. This has been touched on before but the negatives appeared to be around different switches and wiring, as far as I can see the switches remain the same and only the heater controls change.

So in short my question is, does the facelift fascia fit in the prefacelift? I am more than happy to swap bits over and amend switch slots but short of buying one I can't be sure.

Thoughts?

I looked into this but didnt like the small facelift switches, as i often wear gloves and like the chunky preface ones

I didn't realise the switches where all smaller so I would need to replace them all and relocate others.

To my surprise it's already fitted with a basic bluetooth kit for calls and a CD changer so I think I will stick a bluetooth module in the existing tape deck and keep it looking original
