Hi guys my drivers door wont open when i press the key fob i have to use the key , all the other doors open ok, and all the doors lock of the fob,,, any ideas would be helpfull thanks .....

you need a new door latch, common fault.

Just to double check though, put your ear on the drivers door near the latch and push the remote, if you can hear it click but not unlock then the latch is ****ed

hi yes there is a clicking sound, any idea how much a lach is and how hard is it to fit,,.

If its the Latch Assembly (Prt no : ALR9782 - Note you didn't say which model year etc) about 50 to 60 quid.

From what I can find Part No : ALR9782 is the same on all Freelanders 96 onwards so it "should" be the same for your TD4.
