Hey Guys the central locking dosent work off the remote fob but the key locks/unlocks all the doors. Tried changing the battery in the fob but still no joy is the remote locking on a fused system if so where is the fuse located and if not where do I need to start looking to try and get it working thanks.

Do you mean the red light on the dash?

Should do, but someone has changed your settings anyway, as in std config the alarm should be set off if you open the door using the key.

Does the red light light up?

No just been out to check as never noticed it before. Is it possible to change the settings back to std to see what the problem was in the first place.

Yes, you need to find someone with a nanocom or Hawkeye too change the settings back.

It maybe they switched the alarm and immobiliser off because of an issue and found it easier to not have the hassle. I have done it for a few people.

Just keep it in mind and if you find someone who has the correct diagnostics then get them to reset it, plus make sure they give you the EKA code.

Have you looked up the process of putting in the EKA? It's fairly straight forward but like everything else if you don't do what it wants it can make it seem like you have more problems.,Not teaching to suck eggs just know peeps who've had troubles
