Is it the factory fit unit your after / have? what year is your freelander, if you have the standard factory fit head unit with a tape player, controls on your steering wheel I have a Landrover 6 disc cd multi changer that fixes under the passenger seat and connects to this radio

its 01 model yes thats the type were after dont know how to connect it though but yes thats the one
how much please?

I got the CD/radio out my freelander TD4, its an 03 plate but belive it should be the same. My car doesn't have the stearing wheel controls so not sure if this unit supports them. E-mail me if your interested; Mono78v@hotmail.com , ooow, just incase your interested i'm selling this one (not a standard one - its a kenwood) on e-bay. Not expecting much for it. search item no. 270517297464, (don't worry its not the freelander i'm scrapping)

I have just bought a 2001 freelander which only has a factory fitted radio cassette. I would like to add a cd changer. The radio actually says no disc when I press a control. The instruction book I had with the car gives instructions how to use the cd changer if you took the option but the previous owner didn't. Can any one tell me which cd changer to get which will be compatible.

If I were in your position I'd consider using/getting an iPod. You can then buy a pretty good adaptor that fits into the tape slot.(go to ilounge for reviews of em and type the best one into a search on eBay)

This way you dont have to rip the dash apart and no limitation of 6 CDs....and of course no multichanger jamming problems!

Cheers
