Hi guys,

I have tried pulling fuse 53 and re-seating it in the father in laws D3 but the cd player will still not eject.
Dealer wants £600 to replace!!

any tips or tricks you can suggest? I have taken apart lots of dvd drives in the past for cleaning, is this all that is required here do you know?

Remove fuse 53 behind the glovebox ..for a few mins ..then put it back in ..or disconnect battery for a couple of mins (make sure you let the car go to sleep first - instructions next to the battery )...

System check should initiate ... then all should be fine -

I'll tell him to try again - not sure if he put it to sleep first :O)
