i have a 97 discovery, 2.5 300tdi. i was wondering if anyone knew exactly what grease it is that you put into the cv joint to replace the oil? and how much to put in?

isn't it one of those awful rf screwey up thingies on the back of ur rig, always thought they could use a bit o grease

Your's will prob have grease in ... it's available from places like paddocks... it's called one shot 'cos that's all it needs... put in as much as you can get in I guess untill it ouses out the fill level plug.

no it doesnt have any in it already unfortunately. Pre 97 disco's tend not too unless a owner has done it so im told anyway.

I have some lithium based one shot, is that right???
