Anyone out there know if a cb ariel would work with a radio????
I do realise I would have to change the end to fit into ariel hole.

One is 50n and the other is 75n impedance, so not ideal.

As MHM says, it's not quite ideal but it should work.
The impedence values are of more importance when working with transmitters.
You might find that you're not receiving the full broadcast coverage.

I have one of these -

CB Accessories - CB/Radio Aerial Splitters - : Euro CB EX-27 CB/Radio splitter

Seems to work quite well
