Hi guys, just a quick one. 2 HT leads have failed and been replaced but now when under load there is a bad knocking noies due to the cats being blocked. Question i need to know is can i run it for a few weeks till my mechanic gets back off his hols. Its a 4.o v8 2000, cheers

I don't see why not. It might feel down on power abit as the exhaust will be blocked.

yes but im more worried about the back pressure, can that do any major damage

Cracked manifold less of an issue IMO but there is always the problem that it could damage the head if it is allowed to distort.

cheers mate, its off the road and in the garage now as im on holiday for 2 weeks so my mechaniic has more time to sort this baby out.
