Hi guys, I’m currently renovating my first Land Rover while also studying for my A levels and I need a bit of help. I have taken out the old mouldy carpets from my ninety and I was wondering what the best replacement is? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Rubber mat's. If pre made are to expensive one's cut out of horse stable mat's are good and help with sound deadening.

There is a reason your old mats were damp and mouldy, fix that first. I have removed all the carpet from the 110 floor as they always ends up wet which creates more issues. If your old mats are not too worn then get them cleaned and keep somewhere as someone will buy them no doubt. Good luck with the A levels.

I’ve stored them away just in case so that’s perfect. My front doors leak a bit much like all old Lane Rovers so I will have a look into that too. Thanks.

Forget carpets or mats, nice metal floor does away with any risk of damp getting trapped! :D
For the past 35-years none of mine have ever had any type of mat or sound deadening fitted, never had rust problems in that area either. Also when it comes to cleaning out a hose is just the job.

I bought rubber backed heavy duty carpet and carpeted the back of my 110. It's waterproof, can be cleaned with bleach, doesn't hold dirt... Looks great and made a huge difference to not only the sound and vibrations but the look of the bare metal interior too. Sure you could carpet the front with that if you wanted to then it won't be an issue if they get wet
