My stable matting is approx. 25mm thick, it appears to be pretty much bombproof, but is still easy to cut with a sharp Stanley knife - along the grooves moulded into the bottom. I would happily drive over it, in fact it would be pretty good as a recovery aid in boggy ground. As mentioned above, very heavy to handle.

I concur, I have the same matting in the back of my 90.
