Anyone gorra old SMALL scrap caravan i can have/buy for pittance?

Dont care about insides, as long as theGVW of it aint more than 1100KG (ish) and the chassis is sound. Well, ill settle for mostly sound :)

find yourself a general sale auction house - one near me see decent twin axle jobbies going for less than 50 quid - often with things like 12v TVs fridge and heating systems in them

all the ones on flea bay are too far for me to go pick them up, cos i aint THAT bothered, not yet!

Am always lookin though, if anyone knows of one.

109party got it in 1. Wanna make a small car trailer, one that dnt require me taking a trailer test

Although it would have to be a very light duty trailer and car to get within the 1100Kgs, most small cars weigh about 800Kgs that leaves 300Kgs for the trailer not gonna happen realisticallly. Jai

right hands up whos trailer on here is 100% legal all lights work brakes and everthing come on hands up and if yours isnt admit it come on :p

both mine are fully legal, serviced and maintained, why wouldn't they be. end of the day it might be me that gets killed if things go pear shaped;)

On the face of it a stupid question but if you look on ebay or suchlike you see dozens of trailers for sale that have had the brakes removed or disconnected, and the sellers openly admit to having used them like that.
I've got 1st hand experience of what can happen was once towing a site cabin which had no brakes which jacknifed and tore itself off the tow hitch, pushing my 110 onto the wrong side of the road and very nearly causing a nasty acident. It was only the hefty chain I'd put on that stopped it parting company and ploughing into oncoming traffic. I always make sure the trailer is right before I'll tow it now.
