AKA Dirk Diggler
I may need a small folding caravan transported from England to Scotland. I'm looking at a couple on ebay at the moment, one in Dagenham (about 420 miles) and one in Worcestershire (about 320 miles), and wonder if anyone here does this, or can recommend a company? I've got some quotes for the shorter journey of around £300.
I'm not looking for favours or freebies, this is a proper paid job, and would need to be covered by insurance!

if towing it will also needs cpc, tacho and drivers hours if doing it for reward

your better off getting it put on the back of a recovery transit, plenty on ebay that do it

where abouts in worcs is it watts? and where are you?

i am going down "sarf" on sat. not sure about arranging insurance on anything though.

just an option anyway :)

Only if the all up weight is over 3.5 T , a car towing it wouldn't be over 3.5t

Thanks, but it won't be that soon, a few days to go at least. I don't have towing electrics on the Landy, and want to use the K.I.A for towing the wee van at times. I may just get a towbar fitted and get it myself. I was going to do the towbar myself, but I don't think I could manage with one hand in a stookie

I'm keeping an eye out for a Gobur or Esterel, either a cheap one now, that I can do some work on, or I can afford a bit more after Christmas.

Sorry have not been able to get a hold of my mate but it is a pennine. don't know what model but will find out when he gets home.

Thanks for your help but it's not quite what we're after, we're looking for a solid caravan rather than a folding camper.
