Finally have the car running properly again turned out to be a faulty fuel pressure sensor and dodgy injector (No2). Engine purrs along so quietly compared to the tratter noise I'd got used to over time lol.
great news I think this is my problem is that the one on the fuel rail I tested the plug going to it tonight 2 wires have 5v the other one nothing so looks like a new sensor loom
