Hi , I've been trying to tighten down the injectors into my new head , managed two of them but the other two have a little play in them . Studs are fully in and the right way round ( I think ) with the flat bit at the bottom of the thread facing upwards . Clamps are installed curving downwards . Any ideas ?

Actually I just got it , pressing the plate well in and keeping it there with my thumb whilst tightening the nut did the trick .

Funny you should say that , just tried it and of course no go . Any tips to get it going ?

Have you bled the air out from the injector lines ?

I've never had to do anything to bleed the fuel system on either 200Tdi or a 300Tdi. Only ever had to keep cranking until the fuel filter is full then it'll start.

Me to, I believe that they are self purging. Try it again but crank it for longer
