The thing that plugs into the 2 electrical outputs on the series dash?

Had one on my SWB and was told they are like the proverbial rocking horse dung but never knew if that was rubbish.Is there anything other than a couple of matchsticks that I can use instead?

you mean that plug on the end of there, i dont no but this is what plugs in
NOS Land Rover Series 1 2 2a 3 101 Inspection lamp Bedford 12v or 24v | eBay

Thats the plug.Thanks for that link

Used to run my rifle lamp off one and was looking for a replacement to do the same.Been looking at jack plugs but a lot are for audio applications and I don,t think they would take the constant 12v but I,m not sure

i soldered some cut down split pins to the wires, works for beacon.
also stick a cig lighter in as well.

Was looking at doing something similar but I,ve put my soldering iron somewhere safe/lent it to someone and can,t remember which

Only gave a couple of quid for the banana jobbies so I,m not too worried

try a search on lrseries think they still sell the work lamps which fit into them, whatever you plug into them make sure its fused as the sokets are backed with a 35 amp fuse if youre lucky( big sparks and fire if you have a short )..:doh::doh:
