I require a number of items to move the restoration of my SWB S111 Landy forward. I have been trawling various sites looking for a reliable seller of S111 parts. Has anyone here had any dealings with the following traders? I will be buying stuff from rear shocks to just about every oil seal and rear spring hangers.1. DLS from Wirksworth, Derbyshire, 2. Inside Out 4x4 from Dorking, Surrey, 3. Roy Boxall, Chichester, W. Sussex. If you feel you could recommend any other supplier please feel free to add your comments. I prefer Bearmach parts as they seem to be better quality.Thanks.:)

And if for whatever reason they get your order wrong and send you the wrong stuff they will go out of their way to apologise and resolve it quickly and in a way you would find near impossible to complain about.

LRDirect (having restored faith) is still my favourite supplier :)

Okay, thanks so far guys. I e-mailed LRDirect with my list of wants last night. Prompt reply today with a link to Bearmach site to get part numbers. Fell at the first hurdle. Why are there 2 different rear driveshaft oil seals listed? FFFFF:mad:

Different vin numbers or models? If Bearmach might be OEM or Patern versions

Have you had a look at the parts sticky at the top of the Defender thread (sorry - making an assumption on what Landy you have)

EDIT: Just looked at your profile and see you have Series - nice - ignore me:doh:

which seal hub seal ? 88 ,use frc3510 if you have two different sized wheel brgs or rtc3511 if they are both the same size

Thanks guys, the stuff from LR Direct arrived today, left it in my rear porch which I left open for the courier. Drooling over the box of stuff as we speak, look like quality Bearmach as I requested. Happy happy happy, cannot wait until the weekend to get in aboot it.

Okay James, why would there be two different wheel bearings? Is that on the same side or different sizes on each side? Tad confused here M8ey.

pre 1980 series had 2 different sized wheel bearings rtc3416 and rtc3429 ,there is a step on stub axle after they have 2 rtc3429 like defender disco etc
