"it controls fluid pressure in the power circuit" this could explain the feeling that I had of loosing pressure (no brakes)
 
Note to self... Never pick-up your car from the garage a Friday 13.

Took the car, everything went well until the first 5km and then... BANG... a small noise in the brake pedal... and no pressure, pump a second time... pressure.

They drove the car 30km after fixing it without any problems... Argghhhh

The odometer would only know they drove 30Kms, it would not know how often, if at all, they used the brakes:rolleyes:

Sure but they have been pretty much reliable and they indeed find out, prior to change the valve, that the car was braking strangely.

Anyway...
