I...... I....... I.......

Decline to comment, there are not enough expletives in the whole world of known languages to even begin to express my total disdain and derision at this shocking abomination of a vehicle.

I understand vehicles like this are selling hence why JLR are making them, but could they atleast go back to making decent cars as well for the 'purist' and longstanding 'Land Rover Faithful' who want a vehicle that Land Rover were once famous for producing......not cut those models out completly and only make cars for soft, hairdressing, One Direction Fans with no taste, no love of the brand and who couldn't give a damn who Charles Spencer King was.....

Unacceptable!

Personally i was thinking of buying one..........

They have them in Toys R Us, my daughter would love one for her birthday in a couple of weeks! :D

Haha I don't see why everyone hates the Evoque so much. I've always liked it, more of a baby Range Rover. Yeah it will be bought by hair dressers and rich 'surfer dudes' but still its not a bad car, Top Gear even proved it aint half bad off road.

I know that this kind of car is very popular and LR need a "slice of the action", but give it another name for God's sake! Every one of these cars (and I'm including the 3 and 5 door in this) that they build dilutes the value of one of the most valuable brands that the company has.

LR are going more 'up market' the Evoque is pretty much the replacement for the Freelander. The Disco Sport is the one I hate, absolutely hideous and no place for it except being the 'baby Discovery'

Exactly, it's a freelander in a not so pretty frock - it's not a RANGE ROVER! I wouldn't say LR are going upmarket, more like using (or abusing) a long established premium brand to entice a younger generation into the entry level LR vehicles. Can't argue that it's generating a huge amount of sales for them but cant see it doing their long term brand image much good. Cant see them justifying £140k+ for a top end RANGE ROVER for too long.

Cheaper than an S- Class and sales have shown people prefer an RR to be driven around in.

Its a Range Rover in that its luxury. Land Rover was always used for the lower end Fenders, discos n suxh
