I have just parted with my TD5 Defender and ended up with a newer 90 County... I could do with a little more room and wondered if anyone has ever removed the little bulkhead behind the seats and if so has this allowed the seat to go back a little further and give a bit more room for ones legs...:)

yes, google defender centre bulkhead removal, you can buy a kit.

outstanding... you have helped me already didn't realize it was quite so simple but it is... I'm just moving on my trusty TD5 for a newer 09 reg 90. I drove it the other day and thought there must be something to make it more usable....
I'm looking froward to getting this installed... I take it you can just cut out the bulkhead using as Multimaster type machine...?

Well follow instructions, jig saw, nibblers, shears, grinder, many different ways

To get the best use of the leg room, apart from extending the seat-rails, is to raise the rear of the seats ...

check the price of the genuine LR Tombraider kit ... well nice...
