@Grrrrrr @Rubberknees I have got all my files back after a laptop meltdown, but now have win10 and can’t get rave to work properly, so have resorted to using the single manuals, which is actually fine and works for me:)
Any pointers cos it would be nice to get the old rave back, I just can’t see how:)

I just downloaded and unpacked the RAVE iso images, then after Grrrrrr and Rubberknees suggestions I went to the file location for the RAVE application file, right clicked and used the context menu for 'Properties'.
Then on the Properties window, I went on the 'Compatibility' tab, and used the dropdown to choose 'Win98 / Me'. Clicked Apply / OK til I was out.
Double clicked the desktop shortcut and it fired up perfectly.

As above.

I copied the folder across from the old XP hard-drive when I got the Win 10 machine. Dragged a shortcut to the desktop and after it stopped working did the above but only went back as far as XP. I seem to recall @pwood999 mentioning the compatibility to Win98 and then it turned up again on this thread again so I tried it and bingo!

I guess if starting from scratch you'd have to do it with the install executable.

See scotiawhiskers post above. It has worked for many people. You just may need to restart your computer afterwards. Some do some don't
