It's the heater/IRD cooler hose. I'll look out the PN.

I think the PN is PCH115070. There seems to be some conflict on years, but the 1.8 cooling system didn't change much over the production run.
Just check the pipe has the same bends and T's, but it should be ok.

Where is the hose going to the interior heater ? also where is it going to in the engine bay, not really up on the 1.8 petrol, but what I can say it looks like you have oil in the pipe system from the emulsion coming out of the hose, maybe head gasket trouble ? link below to where you may find the said hose.

Could this be it ?

First off sorry for the late reply the broadband went down as well:mad:anyway to cut a long story short when my son brought the car he was told the head had been done,

what they didn't do was flush out the oil/water .As a result the gasket went again last week , he has had the head skimmed pressure tested and had the uprated gasket and bolts fitted . This time all the water/oil ways have been flushed but the hoses are very soft I have included a pic of were the hose attaches it self at the other end and have "bodged" it for now with a generic bit of hose as he needs the car for uni until I can get the right one
