Hi I have recently bought my Freelander 2 HSE with the upgraded alpine stereo system , ( which is great ) but I seem to have a recurring glitch with the unit . Quite often when I go to start my Landy , the unit comes on but I cannot get any sound out of the speakers . Thus happens whether I have the radio on or the Cd is playing . If I stop the car and restart it then it suddenly works ! Anyone got any ideas ? Thanks

just sounds like a dodgy wire somewhere.
I'd take the unit out and see if you have anything that's crimped a wire or a wire that's bare.
Failing that it could be a short on a speaker wire that's cancelling them all out. Just a guess but did have that in my car although you would here a thud through speaker when it did it.. then nothing on any.
