Hi guys
Me and son started on the overland cooking / camping storage area yesterday in the rear of my 2a 88" ( roof tent fitted ) we have made it with x2 100amp leasure batteries compartment with a lift up lid to access the batteries and to house the spare which will slide in and out when needed,
Will post more pic's as we go along :)

Do yourself a favour and seal the MDF. It will take on moisture from the atmosphere and turn to snot. ;)
Thanks for the advice a few ppl have said that so will get some before we carpet over it, the only thing is we can't do the underside as the framework is in the way so will just have to see what happens with that, we only went with MDF as with everything vertually doubled in price now MDF was vertally half the price of hardboard but really wanted to do it in hardboard as it would have been stronger :(

Here's a pic of the n/s wall, don't think anything will get done tonight as its raining and the daughter in laws car is in the garage so hopfully later in the week now :(
