obviously the truck's battery was flat and 3 tons was jsut helping out by lending him his.

yep, It was a Billingtons truck ! we planned a full day Off Roading but the Camel had a Problem with a fuel solenoid and we had to call out international rescue ! They took us home and a fuel solenoid problem was diagnosed. Not the type of thing you carry with you. Anyway it's fixed now. We ended going back with my S 3 Diesel after dropping the camel off. I was a bit worried about getting stuck in the mud as it's fitted with BFG A/T's that have seen quite a bit of road use. The areas that we went to were OK in the end as they were rocky more than muddy. Anyway we had a bit of a late finish but it was a crackin day.

That about right for a yellow sponge!!
They always let you down when you want to play.
Ours has seen the back of a truck on many a day out most off its problems caused by previous owners lack off intrest in spending money on anything that contained oil/water or made it move!!!.
But by god did the paint shine!!!.
After 4 years now have new engine/gearbox/axle,s/brakes/turbo/electrics,
blah, blah, blah oh look no money ,must be time to sell it!!.
