no, dextron III is for auto, use castrol SFAXO in manual box and IRD

the oil we use is what land rover say we should use, jatco boxes burn out anyway so it dont matter what you put in!!

what??? HDC just puts the brakes on for you, nothing to do with gearboxes or overdrives

keep the oil changed and clean and you'll be ok, the service schedule says summat like every 72,000 or summat, by that time the oil is well burnt, i reckon at least evey 36,000 it should be done, if not sooner

Oh and dont tow a dirty great caravan with it

its just coming up to 70K miles and I come back from France having towed the beast (see piccy) to Le Mans!

big sigh;)
 
I like to get my mechanic to change the Oil every other service:) not that its required :) Have it serviced every 12000miles. Had the Cam belt replaced at 72,000miles:D :D :D
