Be reet! I don't plan on flooring it anywhere for the sake of my half shafts and box
Bracing a chassis makes a lot of difference  they increase its rigidity for a start therefore it can deal with more torsion.....why do you think formula cars are essentially built on a web like design!?
Wheelie bars just no
Hydro boost again no as I'm using a disco set up
Injection....I did toy with using two sets of 3.5 injection set ups to make it up to 7.0 but far too much effort to bother with ATM
That is so they can build the lightest possible chassis, from very thin metal
Hope you checked the main bearings, and rod bearings. Along with getting the head skimmed, checking valve seats and valve guides. And that carb looks like it needs a total rebuild. And check the oil pump as they are a weak point
no need to skim the heads, no need to do anything other than fit new gaskets
carb is fine too
ffs thats dust  and the heads don't need a skim because the engine was fine
so why do you take apart a good engine then?
because the original 49 year old gasket had gone, engine still ran perfectly and didn't overheat it was just blowing a little so its getting replaced
Plan with chassis is a lot of bracing and roll cage so we're hoping it'll survive! Chassis is thicker than the original Cadillac one but just without two tonnes of American steel and leather on top!
Door wise I do expect a little movement too but I hope it'll be ok if I'm gentle....
Injection was mainly because I had the bits
And yeah you can once it's done! Paying for my gaskets on Monday so should have them at the middle of the week and my mate is cleaning the block for me too. I'm now looking at making a solenoid operated butterfly so I can control noise round town. I.e. Loud as ####! Then when I'm nearing home shut it down so its civil
