Happy new year all. Hope you鈥檙e all having a better day than me? 馃檮
Anyone online that can give me 5 mins please? Be really appreciated in beer tokens or whatever.

Sitting in my car as I type and I can鈥檛 erase the error code above. Disco 3 auto 2008
I鈥檝e been getting suspension fault normal height only error for weeks now.
Remembered seeing a post from Stuart about setting the heights and tried to do so.
Then I get this permanent error.
Can鈥檛 erase it and when I try to enable the suspension it鈥檚 not happening.
When I flick height switch up as directed it says the arrow will stay lit until process is finished.
When I flick switch up the up and down arrows flash a couple of times and that鈥檚 it.
Obviously when I drive it now it鈥檚 on the bumps. 馃檮
I鈥檓 using an Autel maxi ap200
Can鈥檛 afford a gap鈽癸笍
Cheers 馃檪

馃檮 didn鈥檛 mean Stuart.
Gary. Sorry fella.

Hi and happy new year... unfortunately there's no way around this other than calibrating the system with a 100% compatible tool which has advanced calibration functions available, i'm affraid that the generic Autel is not up to that job

Hi Sierra thank you.
Ok. I should have left it alone 馃檮
Was only causing minimal issues but just annoying.
Anyone with a gap tool near Warminster? 馃檪鈽癸笍
Cheers

Check it's not still in tight tolerance mode, you can't calibrate the heights if it is, and will give the DTC above.

BTW, 'normal height only' is not usually caused by height sensor calibration issues, successful calibration needs any underlying defects (such as low compressor output) to be rectified first, otherwise calibration will fail and you can't restore the previous calibration unless you have something like Autologic or SDD

Thanks. 馃憤馃檹
I鈥檝e managed to get it back into normal mode somehow. . When I work it out I鈥檒l post what I did. Only fronts looks like they鈥檙e on the bumps.

AP200 should be able to calibrate suspension height OK, but as I said, the system needs to be operating correctly first, maybe try a battery disconnect/reconnect in case something has locked out?

Thanks again.
If the compressor has an issue which it might. I get an error saying raising slowly.
Could this cause the height calibration not to work correctly anyway?

'Probably' - it could also be a blocked desiccant drier or a leak, but yes, unless the whole system is operating correctly, then the height calibration will fail.

Ok cool. I apologise because you did mention that in your earlier post.
You鈥檝e been really helpful.
I sense a trip to my local garage coming in as I鈥檝e never tackled anything like this before nor do I have the time.
On the other hand I don鈥檛 have buckets of cash either. 馃檮
Thanks again. 馃憤馃檪馃檹
