hi
i have just bought an 2006 freelander td4 , which i was happy with for 30 miles.
it started when i got home and saw there was no ariel. I looked in the boot and found it , so being carefull i went to put it on but alas i coundnt as the thread had broken off and was still inside the base.
I contacted the garage who said they were going to sort it - a week ago-.
Then, it has started to make a buzzing sound behind the rear wheel drivers side.It starts as soon as i turn on the ignition and continues even when i start the vehicle up. It does not stop until i turn the ignition off.
Can anyone shed some light on this buzzing?.
from what i can make out , there is a fuel pump in that area, so i'm guessing that is what it is.
i cant get hold of the garage atm so any info that i can be armed with may well help me get them fixing it - if they even know how
Thanks in advance for any help

don't keep bees do you ,it does sound like fuel pump also Ariel as it is a later freelander has it got sat nav in as it needs a different antenna than one with out sat nav.
