Hi Everyone!
New member here, buying my first car this year and I've decided on a Land Rover 90. From what I've looked at compared to other vehicles I'm getting a better deal in the long run, the insurance quotes I've run have come out cheaper than the hatchbacks everyone else I know is getting, and it will hold it's value. Also I'm a bit of a tinkerer and would love have something I can play with.
I'm currently looking at a 1997 Defender 90 with a hard top, but I wanted to know how easy it is to remove/refit the hard roof? I'd love something that I can make a flatbed on the hot summer days and then have the full cab in winter. From what I understand it's just a few bolts around the inside to completely remove the roof, and it's something I would like to do from time to time as long as it's easy enough to do.
If any of you experts could offer any advice then I'm all ears!
Thanks!
