Hi there,

I'm planning on re-painting my 1995 defender 90 in java black, but I can't seem to find any paint in quantity larger than a spray can of 750ml (halfords). Does anyone know of a place where it's possible to buy cans of LR paint in a decent amount please?

I always use Auto Paint St Helens. Admittedly, I just buy a few rattle-cans at a time for the odd job here and there, but I'm sure that they'd be able to help you out!

The chain motor factors tend to have it. By chain I mean the factors with the wee vans that you see buzzing about like bee's going to all the garages.

My local coatings guy (he paints anything) can mix auto paint and RAL colours up himself if you just give him the code as he has a paint "system" in house.

Halfords can supply paint in 1 litre tins as well, just ask. They mix it up or have an affiliation with one of the chain motor factors I mentioned.
