I have sorted all of the above on mine. (apart from chassis that has been Waxoiled from day one )

If you're going anywhere near the Glasgow area to view, let me know and I'll tag along.
Might even bring my Nanocom to plug in, usually get a few quid off if you can point to faults in the systems, even if they are historical and only needing cleared!

I'd do as I have done and buy one that was already bust.

I got my es spec with mint bodywork dl fir 850 quid with 11 months mot from over Newcastle way.
Oil cooler failure, dead easy fix. It's got a few more small issues but simple and cheap fixes.

I always buy cars that are broken. You get them for pennies. Better than blowing 4 grand on one and then it go wrong the following day!

Think the later ones have very expensive road tax. Mine is 240 a year, 2001 is 480!

V8s are a great buy as well, Much cheaper than the diesels. Mine was 1200 quid with a years ticket from a private sale!

Must be later on they go to the emissions based system, then? Or maybe diesels pay less, if yours is diesel?
