After umming and arring at looking at a shelving unit for my disco I woke up Saturday and decided to just make myself one.
After a few sums where made and a quick trip to wickes with help from a friendly police man to lift the sheets of hard wood to the top of Ditsy I was all set.

So cracked open a cold one and got on with it. Rob could not contain himself and popped over to give a hand.

All in all after a few Boursin the sun and dare I say more beers I am extremely happy with the out come :D

This will give room for 6 hannibal storage boxes and will have tie down points on top for fridges and all sorts.

It still needs a few coats of varnish and wrapped in carpet but going to test it out next weekend at the Eastnor land rover show and do the final tweaks.

After that success the next day I decided to sand down and reprint my bumper as it had started to show signs of rust so made the most of the sun.

Still got a few other jobs I want doing but that can be for another weekend.:behindsofa:

Love it bud.. To be fair I love what you have done with your disco.. Had a little nose..

Where did you get the rack that sits inside on the roof. That looks really handy

Also expressing interest in that (ceiling?) rack. Love what you've done with it. If only my f*****g mates would buy their own land rovers so I could take out my back seats...

Firstly thanks for the kind words chaps. The roof rack and ceiling rack are from flat dog.
The nice thing with the roof rack is the ease of loading as it's all rail system. Will try get some close up pics soon. It is nearly identical to frontrunner roof racks however with flatdog provides the in the full length.

The ceiling rack is called a load Lugger and yes it is extremely useful and would recommend it to any one.
Easy to install and works better if you have a dog guard but that is the next thing on the books.

Oh the other thing regarding the roof rack if you know some one that is a good alli welder, get them to go over the welds as to be honest isn't the best I have seen but other than that it's all good
